Hypnosis is a completely natural naturally occurring state that each and every one of us enters into every day. It is that period between being awake and asleep, where you feel perfectly conscious, perfectly aware, but very relaxed. It is a pleasant, relaxing state and you will find that you can converse quite easily. I've also heard it described as being like a daydream, or being totally absorbed in a good book or film.
Hypnosis is a powerful tool to overcome any number of ailments, to change your life for the better or to simply let you relax more. Hypnosis is also used during Hypno-analysis to help you to uncover the causes of any deeper psychological problem, thus enabling you to be better able to cope in life.
Within the hypnotic state one can by-pass the barriers to our inner thoughts and feelings, and suggestions are acted upon much more powerfully than is possible in a normal state of mind.
Hypnosis is often portrayed as a magical trance-like state in which you can be made to do things against your will. This is nonsense!
While in the hypnotic-state you remain in total control. There is no question of you being manipulated or being made to do anything against your will.
I do just feel better. Sometimes it just dawns on me that I do feel calmer.
